Use Password Corral’s user friendly interface to enter all the passwords you want. These passwords will be securely stored by the application – they’ll be protected by Blowfish or Diamond2 encryption. Only by providing the correct username and password can someone log into Password Corral and view the passwords stored by the application. And speaking about passwords, it must be mentioned that the application also features a handy password generator.

The installation file is very lightweight in size, less than 1MB to be more precise. Download this file, run it, and a setup wizard will guide you through the installation process. When you launch Password Corral, you will be asked to log in. Before you do so, you must create a new user ID; you will have to provide a username, a password, and choose an encryption type (Blowfish or Diamond2). You can also choose where the password data file will be saved.

The application's interface is made up of three panels. The panel in the upper left hand corner lists your password groups. You can easily create new groups, edit or delete existing ones. Select a group and its contents will be displayed in the panel to the right. The panel includes the following sections: description, username, password, internet URL, email, and expiration. Click on the URL and it will be opened in your default web browser. Last but not least, when you select a password, the comments you entered for it are presented in the panel down at the bottom.

Using Password Corral is a very straightforward process: create the password groups you want, sort them as you see fit, enter any and all the passwords you want. When entering a password, you will be asked to provide the following information: description, username, password (there’s a password generator in case you need it), internet URL, email, expiration date, and comments. Once the password has been entered, you can easily launch the URL attached to it and you can also copy the username or password to the clipboard.

You can set it so that Password Corral will be sent to the taskbar when you press the minimize button, timeout to the taskbar after 5 minutes, for example, and password protect the application while in the taskbar tray.
The aforementioned password generator will work based on your specifications. You can choose the password length and pick what you want the password to include: numbers only, letters only, numbers and letters, or numbers, letters, and special characters.
With a simple mouse click or by using the assigned hotkey, you can lock your Password Corral account, you can hide/show your passwords, and you can access the Options menu.

Password Corral is a free application. Cons:
None that I could think of.

Pros

Little time and effort will go into getting Password Corral up and running. Easily create a new account. Choose between Blowfish and Diamond2 encryption. Easily add new passwords and efficiently manage them. Open URLS, generate passwords, lock the application. Password Corral is free (consider making a donation).

Cons

ider making a donation if you enjoy using the application. Efficiently manage and securely store your passwords for free with Password Corral.
